Summer has well and truly gone and we are now dipping our toes into Autumn! I hope each of you had an enjoyable holiday.

A very big welcome to those of you that are new to my violin studio - I aim to write a newsletter each month to keep everyone updated on masterclasses, group classes, online classes and recitals. In these newsletters, I also send out information that I want to get to everyone in one go.

As schools begin to start up again things are getting busy for Nurtured Creativity Violin Studio! Make sure to book your lessons soon, as the schedule gets busier.

Remember, lesson times are first come, first serve - through the direct booking links. So if there are specific times you want, get booked in early.

I have lots of new students of all ages, levels and backgrounds and it has been so fun to get to know everyone. I particularly want to give a big "SHOUT OUT!" to all my adult students - it takes motivation and dedication to fit learning violin into our daily lives! You all inspire me!

If there is any news you would like to share with your fellow violin and viola students (for example, a cool concert you are going to attend, a song you have learned that you are very proud of, or even an inspiring music video!), then please feel free to send me an email with the information you would like shared and I can include it in the next newsletter!

In case you haven’t seen it yet, I have a public Facebook page that you can check out here: https://www.facebook.com/nurturedcreativity - Share this with all of your friends and family!

There is also a private group for the Nurtured Creativity Violin Studio. In this space, we can begin to create a virtual violin community! This is only for my students and students' parents. In this private group I post photos and videos, and information that is for you only. As members of the group, you can also post questions and comments for me but also share photos and videos with each other, of yourselves (or your kids) or anything relevant to learning music. Nurtured Creativity has an Instagram account as well. Here I like to share fun practice tips and show a little of my own practice! (Teachers have to practice too) And sometimes, a tip I share in a video for one student might also benefit another! I share the videos to the private Facebook group too though, so if you don’t have instagram - you can still have access to the content I create.
