Hello all,

Happy March! Spring is right around the corner :) And along with that bright spring weather comes some exciting news for the Nurtured Creativity Violin Studio.

I am really pleased to announce a couple virtual violin group class opportunities for my students!

Violin Improvisation on Virtual Platforms - Friday, 26 March @ 4:30pm

A class to explore how we can use video conferencing platforms to improvise and make music together! (Open to anyone grade 2/Suzuki Book 2 and above)

Fiddle&Folk Class - Thursday, 18 March @ 5:00pm

This class will hopefully become a series, where students will learn a new tune each class, Scottish, Irish, and American Tunes! (Open to all ages and levels!)

You can book either of these classes through the direct booking links listed above. Only limited spots available - so sign up quick!

If there is enough interest in these introductory classes, I will aim to expand and offer many more group sessions and series. So, even if you are not able to attend this time around, please let me know if you are interested and/or other subjects you may like to have a class on.

In other news, I now have a public Facebook page that you can check out here:

https://www.facebook.com/nurturedcreativity

Share this with all of your friends and family!

Lastly, if you have a Facebook account you can find and join the private group for the Nurtured Creativity Violin Studio. In this space, we can begin to create a virtual violin community - a safe space to communicate freely and regularly with each other. Only for my students and their parents, it is in this private group that I will post photos and videos, and information that is for you only - and it is updated weekly! As members of the group, you can also post questions and comments for me but also share photos and videos with each other, of yourselves (or your kids) playing/practicing or anything relevant to learning music. It is a space where we can inspire and encourage each other.

As always, let me know if you have any questions.

In the meantime, happy practicing!
